with the hr front ends getting scarce on the ground has anyone done a conversion with a hk front end , are these adaptable . I know that the chassis mounts would have to change but unsure of the track.

There are a couple that are being engineered in Adelaide ATM so I think people are doing the Torana one and getting them passed, perhaps suiting a front mount rack application for some particular reason. I have a good front end in my paddock.

Perhaps this is worth a read.

Trilogy originally had a modified HQ front end (from memory),
by the time you modify something to fit you might be better off dropping 5 gorillas on one of the many front-ends being scratch built around the country. Waddingtons? Rod-Tech, V6 Conversions and I think there is another one or two.
Old Oldens in SA are (were) converting LH/LH front ends too.
