Great shots, great concept.  Thanks for posting them.

However, if ever a photo cried out for a caption, it's got to be that last one.  Tongue

cheers

Or this one....

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche, scaramouche will you do the fandango-
Thunderbolt and lightning-very very frightening me-
Galileo,galileo,
Galileo galileo
Galileo figaro-magnifico-
But I’m just a poor boy and nobody loves me-
He’s just a poor boy from a poor family-
Spare him his life from this monstrosity-
Easy come easy go-,will you let me go-
Bismillah! no-,we will not let you go-let him go-
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let him go
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go let me go
No,no,no,no,no,no,no-
Mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go-
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me,for me,for me-

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye-
So you think you can love me and leave me to die-
Oh baby-can’t do this to me baby-
Just gotta get out-just gotta get right outta here-

Nothing really matters,
Anyone can see,
Nothing really matters-,nothing really matters to me,

Any way the wind blows....

Hers's a rundown on the pics
1. Flinders St station 8 am Sunday morning. Possibly the busiest corner in Melbourne.  No traffic about except for this one car which got into the photo at the wrong time.
You can just see my arm with the torch out the window.
The people at the station were very amused at what on earth I was doing.  If it had been after the London bombings, I would probably have been arrested.
2. Olympic Park stadium - where the swimming was held for the 1956 Olympics.  The refurbished stadium is in the background.
3. Olympic Park stadium rings
4. Olympic Park Stadium sign
5. Lexus centre - home of the Collingwood Football Club. Posted for Tony & Brett (choke, choke, gasp)
6. More Olympic Park
7. Vodafone Arena and sign pointing to MCG where all the track and field events were held for the 1956 Olympics.
No photos of the MCG as it is being rebuilt for the Commonwealth games.
8. More Olympic Park. Ho hum
9. More bloody Collingwood !!!!!!!!!
10. Torch relaxing at the beach on Phillip Island.  Just before a very big wave washed in and put the flame well & truly OUT.  I got my feet wet rescuing it!
11. Torch at the Continental.  Some Nats accomodation here as well as the meal night.
12. Torch at the Exhibition Buildings in Carlton.  Sorry this pic is out of order.
13. The whole nats organising team except for a couple of us taking the photos at the Conty.
14. The CYC where the Nats will be based in Phillip Island
The torch will make its way back to this spot with the West Aussies after travelling all the way around Australia.

More pics later    Ken
