Hey Gary
Can't be Kiwi ,  No feathers ? & too long  Grin  (sorry Kiwi)

Kiwi ,   where did you get that pic of the ambo station ,  it's a "dead ringer" for the one here , I'll try and get a pic in the next couple of days ,  they must have used the exact same plans .

Wow  Kiwi
It hasn't changed at all ,  thats why I said it was "a dead ringer" .  when I saw your pic , I just stared at it for a while , 45 yrs , and no changes .
Thinking for a while (unusual for me)  I can remember the Inter crash wagon , F*** Cusso (used to be 2) and the Holdens.   When I'm down there next , I'll see if they've any more pics , I've got to know the guys quite well , so , see what I can come up with.

(the building on the right is now the radio station I work at sometimes)

   Thanks for posting.

the fe ambo as seen in New Zealand was restored in Christchurch by a member of the" Holden Club of Canterbury",vit was found as a wreak in a paddock south of a town called Ashburton.
The ST Andrews  written on the side is a area of where the ambo was found.
Another point to note is that the body was modified by Smallbones bros Holden in Ashburton in 1958  to make it a ambo, it only has 3 doors 2 in the front and 1 on the passerager rear so that the nurse can get in and out NO rear door behind the driver.
This car was sold to a couple up in Auckland not long after the 2001 Holden Nationals in New Zealand.
If I remember they were members of the "early Holden club of Auckland" Smiley

thats right
it was sold to the preident of the early holden club in auckland
he died last year from cancer and the ambulance was sold to ebbet bros holden in hamilton waikato
as luck would have it we have a fleet odf over 50 isuzu products from  500 hp B trains down to rodeo utes and vectras and as such my next new ute is comming from ebbets
i have spoken to the owner of ebbets son who is arranging for a private viewing  of the ambulance it will then be put on public display when they finish there holden themed cafe late this year ..

I don't know that an ambulance parked permanently in the vicinity of a cafe is such a good advertisement for the food in the place!!  Grin  Grin

I'd like to see that Kiwi, any chance of some close up pics of the finer points of the ambo would be good.
