Hi all,
I did a bit more on the wagon today, installed the cargo comp windows.A little hesitant to start with but got braver as we progressed. It's the second time I have ever put windows into a car ( The first was a mini and only the windscreen.) That stringy thingy makes it easier as did the spray of H2O. I was a bit worried that I might be to heavy handed and break some glass. Now I have somewhere to put the club sticker that I've been carrying around in my Almanac(ie). Here's some pics.

Hi All,

The wiring is in and working (1st go too) I'm so happy, but this will end as it's back to work tomorrow. I'm going to fire it up on the weekend (all going well) and my daughter is going to video it so there may be some moving pics soon.

Well I was privileged to see the initial firing up of Rusty & Rosalyn's FE 229 (Wagon) this afternoon, so here goes, my first attempt at filming & uploading a video clip of the happy moment  Smiley

Please excuse the quality as all I had with me was phone camera Cry

The Wagons looking great & not far from completion, like they are all saying Rusty, lookin good!

Cheers, Gary

 Hi all,

Windscreen is now fitted. Carpet will be in it over the next couple of days. I get to drive it to the weigh bridge (Sims Metal ) probably tomorrow. Engineer Tuesday (Brakes and HR front) and tune and blue slip towards weeks end. So it's all happening at our house.

Hi all,

The car has been passed by the engineer( HR brakes and cross member, Seatbelts, Rims and tyres 14" etc), however, another hurdle has raised its ugly head. It seems the RTA has a new online program to be done by the engineers but the one I'm using can't access it. Nor can the other 5 in the Penrith area. The car was going to be blue slipped tomorrow and registered as well. Here's hopping.

Excellent work Rusty, you must be pleased.

When I rego'd mine, I had to bring the engineers report reference number to the blue slip guy too.

should all be Ok, the RTA loves putting these nicely built cars back on the road.

Cheers

Hey Rusty.
Nice to hear that the journey has taken another big leap.
Good luck with finalising the rego.
It should be great to get a few miles on her around town before setting off for the other side of Aust.
