Not good Ed....!!

I seem to remember you were waiting for a parts delivery last nats as well weren't you? On top of the time it takes to do the actual repairs, you don't need to be waiting for parts to arrive!!

Good luck with it (again) Wink

dress in drag if necessary and be called "Sue"

I didn't go that far, but I did attend the PI Nationals as Mrs RET Grin Wink Kiss

Simple ticket swap a week before the event... I wouldn't have been there otherwise

Sad news....!! I read it on the HAMB boards yesterday arvo....

I believe they're going to have a massive hot rod gathering in his honour this weekend now!

I enjoy watching his show on the Discovery Channel..... The quality and design of the cars he produced was awesome!! Top shelf stuff!!

He didn't seem to always treat his workers all that well (reminded me of my bosses Grin ) but he was a good guy.....

He'll be missed!!
85  General / General Board / Re: fc on ebay on: February 20, 2008, 11:13:25 PM

I tried, but couldn't get the image to download so that I could post it...

Hey Jason.... if you download the PNG version of the image it should post here the same way a JPG image does (via photobucket)....

I like the SVG version because it opens up in Illustrator Wink

That's a cool site Alex.....!!

It's very similar to the Photoshop "effect" under Image > Adjustments > Posterise (8 to 10 "levels")..... BUT it's exactly the same the Adobe Illustrator CS2's "Live Trace".

Live Trace turns placed images into vector art also.... We mainly use it at work for logos, but sometimes for pics too.

The best part about the site for mine is that I only have Illustrator 10 at home and haven't been able to do the vectorise thing at home until now Wink

Very cool.....

Here's an attempt for 'ya.....

And Leon, if you're still torn between the computer v paper thing, you should grab yourself a Wacom pen and tablet and have the best of both worlds.... these days, even if you draw something, you still end up scanning it into a computer so you can send it to someone, or display it somewhere..... doing it straight on the screen just cuts out the middle man Grin

Nice work Gary!!

Looks like a great wagon...

It's great you're aware of its history and therefore deduct why some of those mods had been made in the past... like that spare tyre door and bumper modifications... Awesome!

Keeps those pics coming!!
