how do you wire in a generator???.
how do you wire it in, the motor is runnin on a stand and we want to wire up the generator (this may solve why it isnt idling.

You will need to wire in a reg as well as a generator.

"D" & "F" on the gen & reg are joined
"B" on the reg goes on the same terminal as the battery lead on the solenoid.  The body of the reg should be grounded.

I don't think this will affect engine running, just charge the battery.

thanks for the help ken

turns out the so called 'rebuilt' carby off ebay wasnt so great. threw a carby that we re kitted some time ago on, and it idled straight away, no probs
