Hi all,
My question is for the lower subframe bolt for the sill, does the shoulder stop on the inside of the sill leaving the thread out for subframe mounting or does the shoulder go through into the subframe leg? any diagrams or info would be great thanks.

Shoulder goes through into the leg. Can be difficult to get that last bit in.

That's where subframe "bolt bullets" come in very handy.

Filing the sharp edge off the shoulder assists with the location. Adding a drop of oil as well makes life easier. Kevin.

Just bolted mine on last weekend using Rare Spares replacement bolts. Had to flap disc around the edge to get them through.

Try to minimise taking too much material off the shoulder of the bolt. This is what is holding the subframe leg correctly in position. As Kevin says just a light file to help them through. I’ve always used subframe bullets. They make life very easy, but having access to a lathe helps.
