As per the topic I have the compact model and here is the only logical place. I'd prefer to hide it further under the dash. Short of mounting it upside down ( which my 8yr old assures me it works) where have others mounted this unit?

I've seen systems mounted under the parcel shelf with the ducts piped up to the front.

Quite clever I thought...

Cheers

In the van I had it mounted behind the seat and ducted to the front, but it struggled with the large area to be cooled. I guess as Ed suggested you could run 2 ducts to the front and 2 vents on the parcel shelf.
Or there is the ute solution... But would need a repaint, and move the stereo as hoon suggested.

or just route 2 vents to the front to not lose air velocity and block off the spare 2 vents.

Hey mate its the "Compact" model. I know the "Mini" is smaller but may struggle with a full sedan interior.

Speedy air makes a small unit that fits up under the dash. It has 4 outlets to pipe where you wish.

Hey Andy,
How is your rig going mate? How come we don't have any photos on here?
I heard about the speedy unit after I had bough the vintage air one. Apparently just as strong. Is this the one you went with in the end?
Cheers,
