For Ken and others,

I had a look at two FE's at the weekend, 1 damaged, 1 rusted. Made a reasonable offer for the two and got the usual response " they are rare and are worth way more than that, I'd rather see them rust away". So rust away they might

Weddo,

I was recently in Tas for a holiday (lovely place)and saw a calendar with a photo of a rusty FC ute that was said to be at Buckland.  Was also told of an FE seen in a paddock in the Huon.

Do you know of these vehicles?

Cheers

Glad you enjoyed your holiday Dave, see you back here in two years. Wink

Unfortunately I don't know of either of the two vehicles you describe. Tassies such a large island I haven't got to know all of the cars yet Grin Grin Grin

And you are totally correct Ken, it colours the perception of value for some people even when you explain to them the cost of the work needed, to just get the cars in a reasonable state to drive.

regards
