This is the car that started my passion for FC's back in 1972. Bit of a mongrel, built from an FE & FC put together - both were on the way to the tip. Only kept it for a couple of years then traded up to an EH.
Took me 30 years to get back to another butI'm working on my "new" one. Hope to have it on the road soon!

G'day Trev,
Very Nice indeed. Can you, or anybody else, tell me if the little chrome fins on the back and the larger bonnet bird were options on the FEs or only on FCs?

Nige,
I expect Ken will be able to give you a definitive answer.
From what I can remember, I swapped the Fins and Grill/Front Indicators from the FC wreck onto the FE.
Added a few other bits like electric wipers and a brake booster. Also remember something about fitting HD holden drum Brakes on front and the many gearbox and diff rebuilds from too many revs and too quick on the clutch!
The "new" one will get due care once it gets back on the road.
