Got the wagon registered as a South Aussie today, seeing it was clean and the rain had stopped, took a few photos.

Way to go Glen Glad to see you got the Wagon on the road. I don't mind what state it’s in as long as it's drivable  Grin

Hey Stinky, does this mean that your car was once a Falcon Grin

I reckon if you could get XFE number plates that would be cool, it was once an FE then grew up and became an FC Wink

Yeah, I know, I didn't pick the plates but it is uncanny that the guy picked one out with "59" on it.
We can get "R" and "S" series plates in SA for $70 odd as long as they are available. The thing is Robin (cajerridoc) probably has all the good ones like "RFC-229" etc  Grin

Thanks Alex, that's a helluva great compliment coming from you after seeing your photgraphy skills.
I had to dodge around a bit so I didn't get too much glare.

I didn't know until I got there, I wanted to take it to Mt Gambier and was crapping my daks thinking they would defect it. All they did was check the numbers, charge me a lot of money and give me a set of plates and a rego sticker  Grin

BTW, I've changed the wheels again, the other mags were scraping on something.

All filthy and covered in squashed bugs in a car park in Nelson (near Mt Gambier). The club went for a cruise and lunch out there on the Sunday Arvo.
Wheels are 13x7 holden steelies I picked up for $120 including tyres, a $6 rattle can of green paint and $64 on moon caps from a trucker's store. Admitedly the wheels needed a "dob" of weld on each nib to keep the caps on.

The current (soon to be gone) white and green/aqua colour scheme was painted on by a previous owner. I am thinking of going to something like the original Forrestor Green and a second colour.

I just have to find the time to strip the rest of the shell down to get it off to the strippers, no one twigged the kids have been stripping the car down. Jonas my eldest has done a great job so far, even going so far as to label stuff like headlights as he removes them.

Hey Stinky my old girl is looking great! It was already painted those colours when I bought it but looks even better now! I sure do miss her and every time I see another FC wagon I get a little sad though it sure has gone to a great home! I am completely wagonless at present too, having sold my 57 Chev and my XY wagons, bout time I found another one, just not sure what yet though I did see a nice Buick the other day!
