Remove steering arm from bottom of steering box - you may need a puller for this. Alternatively undo the cross shaft end nut and remove the steering arm from the cross shaft.
Remove the split pins from the 2 shifter levers and tie the levers out of the way
Remove wires from reverse light switch if fitted
Remove the 2 tin plate floor sections around the column
Remove the column to dash bracket - you will have to undo the dash to see what you are doing.
Disconnect the wires from the connectors near where they exit the column
Remove the steering wheel, gearstick and blinker stick - you may need a puller for the wheel
Lastly undo the 3 bolts holding the steering box to the chassis and bring the whole lot up and out through the engine bay - 2 people are generally required for this as you have to guide the honey pot under the pedals.
