I'll add my congratulations and thanks to the Canberra people for a great week-end.

See separate thread for some of the story of our trip home.

I'm not sure I can add much to this thread that hasn't been said already, but even so, congratulations to all the members of the FE-HR HOC of ACT who put in such a mammoth effort over so many months to make the weekend just gone so memorable.  Having been to other events run by the Canberra club, I went with high expectations, but they were exceeded by a long way.  The Best Nats Ever.  Everything about the event was extremely professional and of the highest quality.  (Except some of the singing Wink)

I would like to single out a couple of the unsung heroes (or heroines): Jacky Tierney and Nicola Goboly, who put in so much hard work all weekend to make sure everyone got fed and looked after.  Even though I didn't have my family with me and could find my own way to the bar, the efforts of these two were clearly what made the weekend so enjoyable for the families.

The Nats were obviously a well co-ordinated team effort, and my congratulations to you all.  The FE-HR HOC of ACT is a comparably small club - and only a small percentage are FE-FC owners - so to produce such a terrific event speaks volumes for the commitment and dedication of all the members.  Well done to you all.

So, when's the next ACT All Holden Day? Grin

cheers

From a Saturday day-tripper I'd just like to add how much I enjoyed looking at a such an impressive collection of FE/FCs and putting a few more faces (and cars) to names.

If the EJ hadn't performed so well on the trip I'd now be trying to replace it with an FE/FC.
