G'Day,
Is there any link to a post on the forum on how to replace the generator with an alternator including brackets and wiring?
Thanks, Wasim

Hi Wasim,
I have a primitive drawing that I could jazz up a bit showing all connections. I'm no electrician so the drawing is pretty basic and designed so I could follow it years later! I'll track it down and get back to you. I can recall it's for an external regulator setup.
Regards,
Martyn

Hi Wasim, these are pretty rough drawings I did about 25 years ago. Looks like I had 2 different types of alternators. No doubt some here will be able to make sense of what I did. I had no idea but they worked! Now that I look at them they seem less about a conversion than just a setup for red motor electrics. Not really sure if this will help but better i put them up and let you decide. Regards, Martyn

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I found this bracket on the web - looks OK - gives me the idea of what I need to do?
Regards, Wasim
