Just a question for the FE people out there (Im a ignorant FC owner). A mate with a FE ute had it catch fire on him and it melted the insert in the emblem. Are they the same or can you use a horn button as at a glance they look the same.(forgive for my ignorance on things FE)

No they are not the same, but people have turned down a horn button to fit in. There is no repro made for the bonnet emblem, so it is getting hard to find a good one.

He had just finished a run at the drags and it spluttered a bit when he backed off over the line and it caught fire on the return road. We think it just flooded and leaked fuel over the dizzy as it was pretty melted. He should have put some hose between the vent tubes!

I guess he was lucky it happened at the drags with a full fire crew on standby.
Might have been worse.
How about a few pics of the whole car.
Looks like a nice machine.

The back rims are 15x8's are stock 14in hq i think,my brother made the back rims for him they are a hq 14in centre with a 15in stepped down rim. Its been mini tubbed and the guards stretched so he can fit 28in tall tyres under it.
