i'm about to put in hr disc brake wheel cylinders but the shoes are off a drum set up i'm thinking of welding the pin to the shoe or welding some 3 mm flat bar in there ,can't see  my car for a few days so have to wait till then.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Welding some metal in there should do the job, just make sure it's done properly or there'll be tears  Cry

Years ago when you had to do an exchange for the shoes and  they were hard to get,  I use to weld them up with the lining cooled by a wet cloth  now days you can buy them outright for not much $$$$ why bother .......FC427........

just got sick of trying to source some hr shoes cheap got a couple sets of drum ones and just wanna get it going
