Title: Commodore discs
Post by: pedro on May 25, 2008, 03:29:05 PM
Just doing a bit of research on fitting VS discs, Rod hadfield only has adaptors for HK-WB not HR front ends, I presume that means i have to fit HK-WB stub axles to the HR crossmember.

When Ken was at Hoppers Stoppers, I sent him down some HR drum stubs and he machines a piece off them to fit some laser cut plates that accepted my VT calipers. They also have the hubs that fit commodore rims to finish off the package. I would recommend this and would use them again.

Hope thids helps
Jason.

I've heard the turning circle is better with the rear mounted too, does anyone make a rear mounted kit.

Pedro I run a Pat Gardner rear mount and the lock is better than a standard car and lighter with no wondering all over the road as with a steering box CRS also makes a rear mount I think  The front mounted ones I have fitted have all had poor lock ......FC427.....

No worries thanks what about sump clearance with the v6, i know it has to be modified a bit but the rack is going to protrude even more.
