Alex has inspired me to throw an aussie 4 speed behind my 186.  Using his thread (http://www.fefcholden.org.au/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=hotup;action=display;num=1022339013) as a starting point, I have made up a set of adapter plates for mounting the gear shift and have taken measurements and made drawings along the way.

This has now been added to the clubs tech section

Hope to have stage 2 (linkages) done, written up and posted by mid March.
Stage 3 (mounting into the car) will have to wait untill my new shell is ready for it. Need to find a really good sub frame if anyone wants to get rid of one.

Keep on Holdening
Al
