Waggot Engineering would be a good place to start in the cam search. I think they are in Vic?
A manual is going to be a good reference for cam installation, just so you don't miss any important steps.

thanks stinky
its just i remember when we tried taking a cam out of a seized motor, it was  moving and everything but there was a retaining plate stopping it coming out  (at least thats what i remember)

There are 2 small bolts or screws holding the retaining plate to the block. Accessable through the holes in the timing gear.

Any reasonable alloy fabricator could knock something up, at a premium I suppose. I have seen a custom 4bbl Holley manifold made for a Red6 in an LH Torrie, it had real long runners compared to the usual cast items.
If you could mock something up in cardboard or wood or something it would make quoting easier, but at the end of the day I reckon you'd be better off (both in time and money) with a cast unit.

TorqueFC

hey
you wouldnt possible know of a "alloy fabricator" would you?, as we are not really worried about the cost its all about being different

cheers

Even if he does, he's in Adelaide.  IIWY I'd start here or possibly the Aussie Hot Rod / Custom magazines.
