G?day Craig,

Tried PMing you, but not sure my PMs are working. Can you please PM me so I can sort out the mudflaps? Looking to put them back on the ute to sell it.

Cheers,
Harv

Hi All,

Sorry I took som overseas work so have been offline for a while so the FC has been sitting on the rotisserie gathering dust. I have a bit of catching up to do now I am back so I have turned my hand to doing small jobs that I can knock over spending an hour here or there. Small things like painting rocker covers, sideplates and manifolds, cleaning and spraying the tail lights back to red and putting the accessories on the donk in preparation for its run up. This is where I am at with the motor. The go fast bits have been done for ages so relly all I have doen is play with the aesthetics and start putting it together. I plan to make new fuel and oil lines next.

Nice work Craig, and that paint job will definitely conjure up a few extra ponies.

I was going to match the paint to the colour of the ute, but thougth is would "wash out" and being a cream is only good for about two HP. I have heard that red is good for an addtional three. More importaintly, it was the colour of the engine enamel my sone had left over in the cupboard from one of his projects so the it cost nothing but a bit of time with the masking tape and stanley knife.
