john gilbert from just rust made up new concave sills, bottoms of the doors, smooth spare wheel door and new tailgate skin which i had louvred.
now if we could just get him to work on his van.........

the flames are purple metalflake over the purple base coat so sometimes you dont see anything and then when the sun hits them you need sunglasses.
just the flame and subsequent clear coats(13) to hide the ridge took 4 straight 14 hour days to do but the end result was worth it.
only problem is that people keep putting sticky fingers all over it to see if the flames are stuck on.
also touching up the flames is a nightmare as we found out last year when someone deliberately ran into the front end with a stolen car and damaged the bonnett, left hand fender and grille. i'll have to take some interior shots and let gary post them as well

Hey Craig,

Now I have a name to the car just missing the face.
How is the rock and roll scene going?

Blame John for that snippet..

cheers
