G'day all

I am a 'returning' forum member I haven't got an FE - FC any more, but still have an interest in all the old Holdens, and some new ones!

Just thought I'd put up some pics of my ute, for those that might be interested ...

As it was last on the road

Looked OK, but the paint was gone since I owned it and started getting pretty ratty, so ...

And as of yesterday:

This is a great site to poke around on, really enjoying it and looks like a lot of you had a ball at the nationals!

Cheers

Ole

Very nice Doug, how long did the rebuild take you?

Nice Ride, My brother is chasing a humpie Ute too.

cruisin_doug

Thanks Ole, the ute came off the road in January, I am aiming for GM Roundup (30Sep) to get it back on the road.

NES, will keep lookin'  ;) :D

AND your the first with the new section!!!

cruisin_doug

Woohooo!! I do feel privileged! ;D ;D ;D

Its a good idea as I am sure there are plenty of people that have an interest accross all the early Holdens, but you have to draw the line somewhere in how many vehicles you own!

Thanks RET

Cheers

Doug ... VERY nice ... from another FJ Uter ... love the firewall flames too ... are they a custom paint job , or decals ??

Gives me ideas for the FE project !!!

Dave .
When I was a young man I spent most of my money on cars , beer and women (in that order) ... the rest ... I just wasted !

Thanks Dave the flames are airbrushed by the same guy that painted the ute, very talented fella!

Progress pics, the air cleaners have been a bit of a project to get looking right to my eye at least - they are part of an upgrade to a fully sealed PCV set up, I am sick of trying to keep up with cleaning up oil vapours!

Trans cooler (had to make a scoop, its sits about 25mm below the front bar), there is no space for one anywhere else!

And Dave, now theres a spot to put up your FJ Ute! Are you on the FX FJ forum too??

Cheers
Doug

Hey Doug ... No worries ... yeah I'll be posting the ute build during the week ... yes I am on the FX FJ forum as well but spend more time over here !!!
