Hi everyone , with the knowhow on this site ive seen over the years just wondered if anyone here has imported gear from the Usa? Been looking at importing some truck tyres and needing some advise on the best way to do it!

weight would kill you with the freight are they new for a old truck or new for a new truck ?

That classic tyre mob in melbourne are very reasonable ..

There new tyres for some agri gear up here and no one whats to import them anymore so its time to give it a go myself.

in that case contact tony webbster from newcastle he imports a bucket load of cars and parts from the states and they always have some room in the containers ask someone like that unless you are willing to bring a whole container full in but then you risk getting import tax thrown at you which would make it not worthwhile bringing them in.

There is probably a reason nobody wants to import them hey and its probably nothing to do with quality. Imagine when the carbon tax comes in, it will be worse.
