I am looking for a Bakelite Insulator for a '57 FE Holden. Please reply to this post or email myself at betteandjohn@hotmail.com if you are able to assist.

Also, the carburettor has been recently overhauled (and not being mechanically minded) the engine will not idle unless I keep my foot on the accelerator. Do I turn the idle mixture screw right or left?

Any assistance is appreciated.

I have an insulator, rough setting to start is to do the screw up until it stops and then back off a turn and a half. sounds like you may also have vacuum leaks though.

Ken, Thankyou for your response, am interested in the insulator if you're willing to sell. Could you please  respond with price and details to personal email address.
