If i put a complete HR front end and strreing arms in my FC ,will my grey motor fit in without modifing the sump? Can any one help .Cheers

FC427

It will fit but you still need to change out rigger and the steering arms will just hit the sump on full lock that's my experience with it .....FC427....
As I lay rubber down the street I pray for traction I can keep, but if I spin and begin to slide please dear god protect my ride

Out rigger has been changed, Is there any thing that can be done so the steering dosnt hit ,Grinding or re fadracting. Cheers

somethings wrong steering should not hit .
are you using HR daglink or FC
check your front engine mount is not persished.
Are you running original box or something else.

FC draglinks will just hit, HR draglinks wont hit

Ken

ratbox

but doesn't the HR draglink sit further back ?  i've found with red motors on full lock the draglink hits the sump but changed back to EK and problem solved, my motors aren't to far forward as i set them back as far as i possably can missing firewall seem by millemeters

may be a different case with a grey motor

Muz

I am using a HR crossmember, and steering arms including the draglink. Will the grey motor sump be alright or does it hit ?  Cheers Muz
