Hey Champ, I vaguely remember my Grandpa having an orange inside visor fitted on the drivers side of his FB; cant remember if it was instead of or in addition to the stock fold-down inside sun visor  ???

( it sure wasn't to allow [an albeit tinted] view of the traffic lights when pulled up at intersections on sunny days - the nearest traffic lights were 180 mile away and he refused to drive in 'the city'!)

Any other 'oldtimers' got more info?

cheers, jack

Hi Jack,

Yeah, he mentioned something like what you described.
Apparently, these orange visor type were used in the standard FE taxies for telling the passengers whether the taxi was available!
Any other info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks again Jack.
